Wheelin’ in CO

image

I was out in Colorado last weekend for my fantasy football draft. I had the opportunity to go 4 wheelin’ with Evanko in his Land Rover. Good times.

Woo hoo

I have finally found a high speed internet connection here in Williamsport.  I am at my friend Tinney’s  house and am able to do some of the things I have been wanting to do on here.  Plus there is another hope for high speed out at my parents house.  I was told that Chilitech may be available out there, so I put out a phone call, but didn’t get around to it until after 5 on Friday, so I have to wait on a call back hopefully on Monday.

I will also be taking my truck to get the transmission fixed on Monday to K& W transmission.  A buddy of mine from High School’s dad owns this and seems like he is going to take good care of me.

Wedding Photos by Shae

I ran into our friend Shae today and took Violet and Grady down to Mcintosh Reserve for a little walk.  Here are the photos Shae took at our wedding.

Got this photo from Farsang

Thanks to Farsang for sending us this photo.  It was a year ago yesterday that we stayed in this shelter with him.  Good times.

Work

Hello everyone!

As some of you may know, I was supposed to be going canoing last week with another counselor and a senior counselor to scout the Ogeechee River, just south of Savannah. Well, I am sad to report that we were unable to take this trip because on the morning we were to leave, as the senior counselor, Steve Barnes, was preparing, he suffered from a heart attack and passed away.

He was a very integral part of the Warm Springs OTP community and will be greatly missed. He was the lead canoer, gear man, and senior builder of buildings such as are in the slide show to follow.

Please say a prayer for his family for he was a great man.
