Painting the trim the same color it is in the rest of the house to give it the flow and consistency. This is the 1st coat of perhaps three.

We are painting our trim and can’t decide if we like this brown with the colors in the living room. What ya think? We have whit we could go with.

We are finished painting the walls in the living room now. We still have the trim to do, but that will be after we redo the floors.

It doesn’t look like much now, but this is the future site of some terraced flower gardens. It is a little cold out now to be working on it, but as soon as it warms up, we have about 3 pallets of retainer wall bricks that we will be using to build a two terraced, flower garden out by the road. I will keep this updated through the process. I was just thinking that I had been being too exclusive with the renovation on the blog, so I wanted to mix it up a bit. I will be getting back to some other things soon too I’m sure, feel free to comment or message me if there is a particular direction you would like to see me go.

Overall, I am very pleased with the way that the floor has turned out. It is smooth and shiny and the miniscule spaces between the boards I was worried about before I started aren,t a problem at all.
Time to install the quarter round and get the last coat of paint on the doors.
