So I was finally told that I could get high speed internet at my parents house last Monday. They said the modem/router would be here on Thursday and it would be activated on Friday at 6:00pm. The router/modem arrived on Wednesday, which I took as a good sign, because it was early ya know. Then Friday at 6 came as I patiently waited, not understanding why the activation would be for a time after business hours are closed in case I would need a technician to come out to help.
Needless to say, the internet wouldn’t work on Friday, I tried some more on Saturday and finally spoke to a Verizon representative after working through their automated system and thought I had someone scheduled to come out on Monday to fix the problem. I was supposed to call if I didn’t hear from a technician by noon on Monday. So I called and they said that it wasn’t a problem that a technician could help with and I have to wait until this Friday at 6:00 pm again. GRRRRR!
I’m going to call again today and see if I can make anymore headway.
